Dream Home: Eclectic Manhattan

This manhattan apartment is owned by cosmetics executive Jeanine Lobell and actor Anthony Edwards, and was decorated by Rafael de Cárdenas.

The sofa and cocktail table are by Cárdenas (the decorator), and the 1940s sleigh chairs are from High Style Deco. The curtains are of a Starkfabric, and the framed wallpaper panel is by de Gournay.

The games area has an artwork by Jean-François Debongnie, the chairs are upholstered in a Designers Guild fabric, and the tree sculpture is a C. Jeré piece, the vases are by Robert Kuo, and the rugs are Chinese Art Deco.

The dining room walls are covered in a vintage wallpaper from Secondhand Rose, the Gustavian-style table, cabinet, and mirror were found in Sweden, and the rug is by Madeline Weinrib.

Fashion photographs by Melvin Sokolsky are displayed above a 1960's Brazilian credenza, the walls areVenetian plaster.

This bathroom is sheathed in a Stark wallpaper.

"The first concept restaurant by dolce and Gabbana. gold is upbeat, sunny color, the color of energy, luxury and a new dolce vita, signifying a place for beauty and sensual pleasure."


The restaurant is located in Milan, it serves international Italian food, and has several levels including a downstairs bistro that opens at lunchtime and a more formal upstairs that serves dinner only.

1 1/3 oz Sobieski Vodka
1/2 oz Martini & Rossi Bianco
1 oz St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur
1/2 oz fresh lime juice

Put all the ingredients in a shaker, shake, and serve in a highball glass. Garnish with 8 blueberries suspended all around the glass.
